Sleep tracker sleep trackers are among the latest devices to be touted by health experts as being an ideal sleep device for people suffering from sleep apnea, a sleep disorder characterized by excessive daytime sleepiness and breathing problems.
But the products are not designed to help people sleep, and they do not provide the data or accuracy that the sleep tracker market wants, according to research from the University of Colorado at Boulder and the University at Buffalo.
The SleepSmart Sleep tracker, for instance, does not collect data on breathing and heart rate during sleep and only measures the amount of time in bed.
And while the SleepTracker Plus is a sleep tracker that tracks breathing, it doesn’t offer any sleep data or a detailed sleep log.
The device also has a camera that takes images during the night, but the company says the images are not included in the product’s price.
“There’s a lot of confusion in the market right now,” said Scott Paddon, president of the SleepSmart, Inc., a SleepTrackers’ parent company.
“People are looking for a simple, affordable product that will give them sleep.”
Sleep Tracker products that do have data and a detailed log of time spent in bed have been around for years, but this is the first time they have been designed to meet the needs of people suffering with sleep apneas, a condition that affects roughly a third of the population.
Sleep is essential for normal function, according the American College of Sleep Medicine, and the American Academy of Sleep Sciences recommends that adults sleep six hours a night.
However, sleep deprivation is associated with a variety of health problems, including diabetes, heart disease, stroke and Alzheimer’s disease.
In a report published in the Journal of the American Medical Association in March, researchers found that people with sleep-related sleep apnoea are four times more likely to die from heart attacks and strokes than those without.
Sleep tracking is a way to collect data that can be used to help patients with sleep problems.
Sleep trackers, which are attached to a smartphone, can track the duration of time taken in bed and provide users with an idea of how much sleep they are getting.
They also allow people to monitor their own sleep and sleep habits.
But researchers say that there is not enough information about how long people actually spend in bed to be sure the products help them sleep.
While the technology is becoming increasingly popular, it is not clear how reliable they are, and many consumers do not have access to good data about their sleep.
SleepTracker’s latest product, SleepSmart.com, offers two sleep tracking models that both track breathing and sleep.
The first, the SleepTrack Plus, is a small, wrist-worn device that is a little smaller than a standard alarm clock.
The sleep tracker also has an infrared sensor that measures heart rate.
“This is the most reliable and most useful sleep tracker on the market,” said Daniel Gavazzi, president and CEO of SleepSmart Inc., based in West Virginia.
The second, the Advanced Sleep Tracker, is more like a wrist-mounted wearable.
The tracker is made of an advanced, thin fabric and has a built-in camera.
It has a sensor that captures data that is sent to a computer that tracks sleep and heart rates, according a description on the product page.
“A wearable device with a sleep tracking feature that is both wearable and connected to the sleep system, SleepTracker allows for real-time data capture and analysis,” it said.
“The ability to use this information to help improve sleep and prevent sleep deprivation in patients, as well as for monitoring sleep during treatment and recovery, is an exciting new avenue for medical research.”

The company said the Advanced sleep tracker can be worn on a person’s wrist or hand and that it includes heart rate sensors.
The Advanced sleep tracker is smaller than an alarm clock and has an integrated camera that tracks heart rate and sleep, according its website.
“Advanced sleep tracker allows you to measure and record sleep,” the company said.
While sleep tracking is not a new technology, it has not been proven to help individuals sleep, said David Daley, a professor of sleep medicine at Harvard Medical School and a sleep research expert.
“I’m not aware of a single study that has shown that it can improve sleep,” he said.
Researchers are also wary of the devices’ battery life, which is estimated at between 15 and 30 minutes on a single charge.
Some studies have suggested that it might take up to a week for a single device to fully charge, said Daley.
“You can get a sleep track to work for a week or more if you do the right things,” he added.
“If you’re in bed with a big screen, you can get that battery life down to a few hours.”
Sleep tracker apps are available for Android and iOS, but they have not yet been proven reliable, according of the sleep trackERS site.
