It’s been over a decade since the original Man of Steel took place, but that’s not stopping these people from trying to figure out how to capture the essence of that character.
The man who can fly, turn invisible, and bend light is still a part of our world.
We’re talking to the man who could bend light, the man of the hour, the guy who can control gravity, and the man whose name you’ll probably never hear in the same sentence.
The show will be called Superman: The Movie, and it’s set to debut on February 16th.
The new show is being produced by Warner Bros. Television, with David S. Goyer and Greg Berlanti set to pen the pilot.
Here’s a quick primer on what we know so far: The show stars Brandon Routh (Fringe) as Superman and Will Arnett (The Flash) as Batman.
We also know that there will be a sequel, as DC Comics revealed it will be titled Superman Returns.
And yes, this is the man you remember from your childhood.
There’s also a character named Supergirl, who will be played by Kara Zor-El, and there’s also the new Man of Tomorrow, who is set to make his debut in the first episode of the new series.
